意味：英辞郎によると「有料（コンテンツ）の壁◆有料購読者しかアクセスできないコンテンツを持つウェブサイトの機能。」

個人的には、「有料の壁」ではあまりすっきりしないので、カタカナで「ペイウォール」でいいのではないだろうか。
