For definitions of individual Japanese words/terms, I have found this online dictionary to produce the most usable English translations. It is better than Eijiro for that purpose, although Eijiro wins when it comes to translations of various Japanese words/terms within a phrase or sentence.
翻訳者としての経験から、日本語の用語を英語に訳す上では、このサイトが一番いいと思う。英辞郎よりもはるかに使える訳を出力しますが、具体的な文例の訳がないので、その点では英辞郎の方が優れている。
