You get access to free ebooks by Project Gutenberg. The books come in many different formats, some are even available in the Amazon Kindle format, so that you can read them on your Kindle if you have one.
All the books are older books, of course, since they are no longer protected by copyright in the United States, but that doesn't mean that there aren't some great books.
