go rogueは、Question of the Day #710のrogueの動詞句ですが、オンライン英和辞典に掲載されていません。しかし、英辞郎のrogueの形容詞の意味を見ると、

〔人が孤立して〕自分勝手に行動する、面倒を起こす

の訳があります。これと、下記英語の定義から考えると、


通常のルール等を逸脱して自分勝手や危険な行動をとる

が適当ではないかと思います。

CIAやFBIで実際にこのような行動をとる人がいるかどうかわかりませんが、映画やテレビのドラマではしばしばgo rogueは使われています。
