Binary IT用語辞典によると、

pwnedとは、英語で「owned」の異表記として用いられることのあるインターネットスラングである。意味は owned と同様、おおむね「持っている」という意味合いである。

「持っている」という意味だけではニュアンスが十分伝わりません。pwnedには、「誰かを負かすこと」「やりこめる」の意味が含まれます。
