英辞郎によると、

《a ～》〈米・カナダ〉1ドル・ショップ◆1ドル以下の商品を売る店。物価上昇に伴い、1ドル超の価格が付けられている商品もある。◆【参考】pound shop

「1ドル・ショップ」は直訳でいいと思いますが、意訳は「百均」になるのではないでしょうか。
ちなみに、20世紀中頃まではdollar storeに相当する店はfive-and-dimeでした。
