〔寒さ・恐怖などによって皮膚に生じる〕鳥肌英辞郎が使っている綴りでわかるように、goose bumpsとも書きます。また、英国ではgoose pimplesと言うことがあります。
ちなみに、ハワイ州で使用されるpidgin Englishでは、chicken skinと言います。はっきりしたことはわかりませんが、日本からの移民が多いことから考えるとchicken skinは日本語の「鳥肌」からきているのかもしれません。
