とあります。確かに間違いではないのですが、今の使い方の多くはどちらかというと英辞郎の同じページのsmirk atの意味、すなわち「～をせせら笑う」が強いと思います。下記の英英辞典のMerriam-Webster等でもこの定義でしか掲載されていません。
