言葉のサラダ

とあるが、正直言って「言葉のサラダ」と聞いてわかる人が少ないと思う。Merriam-Webster のこの記事によると

In recent years, however, a slightly different use of the term which means something closer to “nonsense” has emerged.（近年、今までとちょっと違うnonsense（無意味な［意味が分からない］言葉）の意味に近い使い方がされている。）

ということで、「無意味な言葉」や「意味不明な言葉」という意味になります。
ただし、この見出しはさらに言葉遊びをしている。本来、toss a saladには、「サラダをよくかき混ぜる」という意味があるので、この見出しは一種のシャレになっている。
