ところで、1番の訳は間違いではないかもしれないが、まずこの意味で使うことはありません。「〔雑草を〕引き抜く 」の意味の単語は、動詞として使用できるWeedそのものです。だから「庭の雑草を引き抜く」場合、Weed out the yard.ではなく、Weed the yard.だけで十分です。
